Decor Stencils

Did you know that Stampin' Up! has stencils? They're beautiful! I purchased this damask stencil to use in my daughter's nursery. It matches her crib bedding perfectly. This was a pretty easy project to make too. I just got a 12 x 12 canvas & painted it pink to match her crib bedding. Then I cut down the stencil so it would fit nicely onto the canvas & attached it with a few pieces of painter's tape. Then I used white paint to stencil the image onto the canvas. Beautiful! Cheap & easy decor for the walls! I love it! I made 2 of these & hung them above the changing table. The only thing I would recommend is to use a nice stencil brush if you want a nice, finished stencil. I used a sponge stencil brush on this project & so the edges aren't exactly perfect!
