I {heart} Little Miss and Little Mister

When you're a mom to little ones a good diaper bag is essential! And trust me, I've been through a few-some too big, some too small, some uncomfortable! My cousin, Leslie, makes her own diaper bags & has just started her own business making them. I'm so excited! Her site is called Little Miss and Little Mister & she makes more than just diaper bags too.
Leslie made me the beautiful diaper bag you see above. I LOVE IT! She has some pre-made bags for you to choose from or you can customize a bag. That's what I did. I found the fabrics that I wanted, dropped them off at her house & she worked her magic! I have been on a damask thing lately & I always love black, white & pink together, so this bag is just perfect. And it's so well-made too!

So this bag isn't just cute, it's convenient & functional too! I bet you didn't even notice the cell phone pocket on the front did you?

The perfect little spot to keep your cell phone handy & easily accessible! It's big enough that my husband's iPhone fit in it too!

You can also add embellishments if you want. Leslie made me this cute rosette out of the inner fabric for the outside & I think it just looks so great! And she made it as a pin so that when I wash my bag (Yes, a diaper bag that is completely machine washable-yay!) the rosette can be removed so it's not damaged & then it can be pinned back on later. Love it! So clever!

And here's a view of the inside of the bag. Mine is fully loaded! But I love all of the pockets inside too. There are 6 pockets total-3 on each side, inside. And the middle pockets are larger than the side pockets. I have found that the large middle pockets are perfect for holding sippy cups in place & for storing my diapers & wipes. In the side pockets I have my wallet in one, my planner in another, diaper cream, sunscreen & medicines in another & tissues, Babylegs & sanitizing wipes in the last pocket. Then in the large middle section I have spare clothes, snacks, toys & whatever else I throw in there! Yeah, I know, I leave with the whole house packed in my bag!

Also, what I love about this diaper bag is that the shoulder strap is SO comfortable! It is so soft & padded that it doesn't hurt my shoulder at all. And the bag hangs over my stroller handle perfectly too which is so nice! Just think what a wonderful baby shower gift one of these adorable diaper bags would make! And don't forget to check out Leslie's super cute rag quilts too! For pricing information or to order you own click here. If you have any questions for me or would like some more info just email me.
Thanks again Leslie!

I {heart} Cute Cupcakes. All The Time.

If you haven't checked out the Cute Cupcakes. All The Time. blog you should. It's awesome! I check it quite frequently in fact. I love the cute ideas they show for cupcakes. And they have a segment called Cute Kids. Cute Cupcakes. where they feature a new cute kid with cute cupcakes every Sunday. My daughter, Kaylee, was featured yesterday. Click here to check it out. These photos were taken from her fourth birthday party. She wanted cupcakes with lots of bright-colored flowers, so I did my best!

I {heart} Pink Lemonade Baby Accessories

So here's another great find for you-Pink Lemonade Baby Accessories!
Our friend, Stephanie, started this business with her good friend & they just have the cutest baby accessories! With my first daughter I didn't use a sling or anything. Since she was my only child at the time, I just didn't feel the need to use one. But my arms did get pretty tired from carting her around all of the time! With my second daughter I have used this sling all of the time! It's just easier-and much nicer for my arms & back-to put the baby in the sling. Plus it frees up my arms so that I can better help my older daughter or attempt to do various tasks while still holding the baby. My favorite is the ring sling. Pink Lemonade has the cutest fabrics & the products hold up really well! Thanks to the girls over at Pink Lemonade for making my life a little easier!
Here's my ring sling in action:
And she loves it too!
This would make a great gift for any new mom too!
Check out their cute stuff here.
