Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge #11

I know I've mentioned Kristina Werner's blog before. She is just awesome! I love everything that she does! Kristina's been doing these Color Inspiration Challenges for a while now & I've always wanted to participate in one, but just hadn't quite gotten it together in time yet. She posts the inspiration photo & shows the Stampin' Up! colors that coincide with the photo. Then the challenge is to create a card or scrapbook page using the same colors, taking inspiration from the photo.

So here is the inspiration photo for Challenge #11: The colors for this challenge are: Rose Red, Old Olive, Whisper White, Going Gray & So Saffron. It's an interesting color combo! It was hard for me to figure out how to make these colors work together on a card!

Here is what I came up with:

I broke out one of my favorite stamp sets, Seeing Spots, & used one of my favorite card layouts. It turned out better than I expected! Head over to Kristina's blog to check out what everyone else made for the Color Inspiration Challenge too.

All supplies Stampin' Up!: Seeing Spots, Much Appreciated, Polka Dot Background stamp sets; Whisper White, Going Gray, So Saffron card stock; So Saffron, Rose Red, Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pads; Old Olive Poly-Twill Ribbon, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-1/4" Circle Punch, Brads-So Saffron, Pop-Up Glue Dots.
