So if you are a loyal Stampin' Up! demonstrator/customer like me you may be wondering about this stamp set. Every once in a while I find a set from another company that I just think is so cute & I'll break down & buy it. It rarely happens, but Papertrey Ink always has such cute stuff! I love this stamp set by them, it's called Heavenly Medley. I wanted to make a simple baptism card that I could give to my brand new activity day girls once they are baptized & arriving into our program. The soft blue polka dot paper is from Papertrey Ink as well & then all other supplies are Stampin' Up!

Home from AZ & Another Papertrey Ink Card
Hello again! We're back from our visit with my parents in Arizona. We had a great time! It was a much needed break to recharge! My Aunt Kathy had major surgery yesterday (everything went well & she's expected to have a smooth recovery) so I wanted to make a special card to send to her (she lives in Chicago) just to let her know that we love her & are thinking about her. I immediately reached for my Women of Life stamp set from Papertrey Ink again. I absolutely LOVE this set! It has the "Aunt" stamp in it already & then I just added the "to my" from Stampin' Up!'s Fundamental Phrases stamp set to complete my sentiment. Notice that I used the Scallop Edge Punch again (I don't know why it looks a little crooked in the photo, it's not in real life!) on this card. I {heart} the Scallop Edge Punch!!!
Note: You can order your own Scallop Edge Punch when the new catalog comes out on August 11th, plus a lot of other wonderful new stamps & accessories! If you are interested in buying a catalog or placing an please email me anytime!

Happy Birthday, Mom!
My mom's birthday is today & this is the card that I sent to her. Yes, it's another stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I love their stuff! This set is called Women of Life. Again, I love how the set has each little piece as a separate stamp so that it is so easy to make beautiful images in multiple colors! And this set is so versatile! I will definitely be using this one a lot more in the future!Women of Life stamp set (Papertrey Ink)

Little Lady

You may be thinking that this ladybug set doesn't look like it's from Stampin' Up!-and you are right! It's from Papertrey Ink. I feel like a traitor! This is probably the first stamp set I've bought that isn't Stampin' Up! Shocking, I know! Anyway, when I was pregnant & we found out we were going to have a girl I knew right away that I didn't want a typical pastel nursery. I found ladybug nursery stuff at JCPenney & decided to go with that. I love my daughter's nursery (see bottom photo above)! Just last week we bought her a big girl bed (she's now a little over 2 years old!) & have decided to move away from the ladybugs, so I guess I'm feeling a little bit nostalgic! Anyway, I found the Little Lady stamp set from Papertrey Ink & knew I had to buy it! It is so adorable! And I love how the Papertrey Ink stamp sets come. They are clear & come with each little piece seprate so that it's very easy to create multi-colored images & to layer the images. It's also nice because since they are clear you can see through them & right to where you are stamping. And the Papertrey Ink website is awesome! They give you so many great tips for using the stamps & there is a great idea gallery. I had so much fun making these cards! The first photo above I thought would make a cute baby shower card. The second photo was inspired from the quilt in my daughter's nursery (sorry I don't have a photo & she's napping so I don't dare disturb her). And the last photo is one shot of her nursery. I should also mention that I used the new Scallop Edge Punch from Stampin' Up! on both cards above. I love that new punch! It will be available in the new catalog starting August 11!
