Make & Takes

Here are the make & takes we made last night at my demo meeting. Super cute!
This first one is a pocket card, but instead of inserting a card into the pocket we filled a small cello bag with candy corn, tied it closed with ribbon & put it into the pocket. What a great little treat gift!
This next card uses the Upsy Daisy stamp set. I love this stamp set! It's a great one because it's a smaller set, so it's affordable, & there is so much you can do with this set. The neat thing about this card was the punching involved to get the raised circle amongst the flowers. First we stamped the flower stamp twice-once in orange & then once in red to give a shadow look. Then we used the 1-3/8" Circle Punch to punch out a portion of the flower stamp. We then glued the white card stock with the circle punched out onto the brown card stock. Then we put a small amount of glue on the back of the circle & applied it onto another scrap of white card stock. This time we used the 1-1/4" Circle Punch to punch around the slightly larger circle. Then we put a Stampin' Dimensional on the back & adhered it to the card over the punched out circle. Does this make sense? So that's how you get the brown circle border slightly larger than the punched out flowers, it's just the brown paper from underneath showing through. Here's a close-up of this embellishment:
And look at all the beautiful & amazing swaps I got last night! Everyone always does such an awesome job! I came home with a great supply of ideas!
