Today my hubby & I celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary! Yay for us! This is the card I made for him. Can you tell I'm lovin' these little owls? It's the new owl punch from Stampin' Up! & it is so fun to use! And the super cute designer paper is called Play Date. Love these colors! Also the greeting is from the new A Word for You stamp set. This is such a happy card!

Always Anniversary Card
I was still playing around with the Always stamp set & made another possible anniversary card for my husband. I don't know how he'll feel about the pink, but I really love it with the black! This card is so simple & was very quick to make.

A Couple of Cards Copied from Stampin' Up!
Every month as demonstrators we receive a magazine called Stampin' Success. It always has such great ideas in it! This month I actually found the time (and my sister-in-law let me borrow the stamp set) to make some of the cards. So these 2 cards are copied straight from the magazine! They both use my new favorite stamp set Always. For the first card I just changed the colors from what was on the sample-the blue & the green are both some of the new In Colors. For the second card the original used On Board Chipboard to spell out "love," but I don't have any of those so I just used my Whisper White Craft Pad instead. It also used white rub-ons along the green strip of paper, which I don't have either, so I just used the Paper Piercing Template to punch a line of holes. You get the idea though, right?!? Plus, my husband & I are celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary on Saturday so I think either of these cards would be perfect to give to him!

Anniversary Cards
My mother-in-law asked me to make an anniversary card that she could give to a couple celebrating their 5oth wedding anniversary. I can never make just one, so I made a few options for her to choose from. The first two both use heat embossing with silver embossing powder. Heat embossing is such a neat technique and really adds a nice 3-D effect to your cards. And it's so easy too! The last card is very simple, which is always great. It only uses paper, ink, and a corner rounder!
